Recently Russia has been targeting power plants that they avoided hitting before. It's likely that this is a response to Ukraine's attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, particularly the blackouts in Belgorod and Zelensky's threats to cause blackouts in Moscow. 

Another factor here might be that Russian weapons are improving. Their missiles are becoming more difficult to shoot down and their drones are becoming more effective against EW. 

Going forward it's likely that as Ukraine steps up their drone attacks the intensity of Russian attacks will pick up as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Bidem give them ATACMS while he was still in office? I know there was a big push for them, considering they had a much longer range than the previously supplied HIMARs ammunition.

Edit: Read the article. These were given to them in 2023 but they hadn't used them to strike targets inside Russia. So once again, Trump didn't do shit for them.

I'm not sure I understand this graph.
Drone attacks are way up. That's expected. 

But does the black area of the graph really represent "missiles launched"?
I would expect the black area to be a relatively small area at the bottom of the graph. 

I'm pretty sure drone attacks are higher by a wide margin. We only need to tally the daily stats to see this.
